Kathy Maringka

Kathy Maringka is from Fregon. Kathy's preferred medium of expression is painting. Canvas and acrylics, ink on canvas. Subjects include traditional bushfoods and the abstract 'walka'. Kathy’s work is abstract, with strong and original designs, and many of these sell at the gallery at the Uluru Cultural Centre. Her designs are also used in the Kaltjiti collaborative rug project, which is a cross-cultural project with crafts people in Kashmir. Kathy is also an accomplished artist in the medium of batik
